Hello! I’m Ashley Joy, the creative mind and passionate heart behind Joyful Gift Guide. Ever since I wrapped my first gift with a handmade bow as a child, I’ve been enchanted by the art of giving. This fascination evolved into a lifelong journey, leading me to explore the depths of gifting, crafting, and creating memorable experiences for everyone.

I hold a bachelors degree in Creative Arts and Design, which has amplified my love for aesthetic presentation and inspired countless DIY projects shared on this platform. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with seasoned artisans and hosting workshops that focus on the joy and intricacies of personalized gifting. My projects have ranged from cozy homemade meals that uplift spirits to intricate DIY gift tags that add a personal touch to every present.

In addition to my creative pursuits, I am also a licensed EMT-B. Working part-time in emergency medical services allows me to contribute to my community in meaningful ways. The grace under pressure and empathy required in EMS has deeply influenced my approach to crafting gifts meant to heal and connect with others on an emotional level. I use my crafting skills as a healthy outlet after a stressful shift.

My experience extends beyond personal endeavors as I’ve worked with various nonprofit organizations, crafting meaningful gifts and care packages for communities in need. These opportunities have taught me that a thoughtful gift can brighten someone’s day and foster connections that last a lifetime.

At Joyful Gift Guide, I strive to bring you ideas that are not only unique but also infused with genuine care and creativity. Whether you’re looking for that perfect gift or a new DIY project, my aim is to inspire you with tips and tricks gleaned from years of practice and passion.

When I’m not working on Joyful Gift Guide, I’m tending to my family of 4, plus 1 Mastiff pup named Violet. I also like to do nature photography and birding. Sometimes I venture to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula whenever I want to get away.

Feel free to connect with me through social media or drop me an email if you have any questions or if you just want to say hi. I look forward to sharing this journey with you!
